Entitled “Advancing America’s Global Leadership in Science and Technology – Trump Administration Highlights: 2017-2020,” the report covers federal investment in areas such as which included artificial intelligence, quantum information science, and biotechnology, according to reporting by the American Institute of Biological Sciences.
“We’ve announced unprecedented investments in artificial intelligence and quantum information science, launched new workforce initiatives and public-private collaborations, and established first-of-their-kind international alliances to develop critical technologies with our allies,” Michael Kratsios, U.S. chief technology officer, was quoted as saying in the post.
The report also details the efforts that went into Operation Warp Speed, the push that led to the development of a vaccine for COVID-19 in approximately 10 months, according to the post.
